Moringa has been dubbled the “Miracle Tree” due to its varied medicinal and nutritional benefits particularly for lactating mothers and children suffering from malnutrition. Subsistence farmers made up of 4 farming groups from 4 clans were selected to the start the project. These farmers were responsible for the clearing of the bush, land preparation and planting of the moringa seedlings. Early January 2007, the organization acquired a 2.5 acre land at Santrokofi – Bume for the commencement of the project. The project was titled “Community Action on Moringa Cultivation towards Elimination of Malnutrition among Women and Children”
